Position Overview: Junior UI/UX Designer
As a Junior UI/UX Designer at Converty, you’ll play an instrumental role in refining and enhancing the visual and interactive elements of our platform. You will work closely with our product team and stakeholders to shape a user experience that not only meets but exceeds the expectations of our diverse user base. This position is ideal for a designer who is eager to grow, contribute creatively, and drive impactful changes in the digital shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Enhance Existing User Interface (UI):
- Work with the current UI to improve visual cohesion and streamline navigation.
- Identify and address areas for improvement, ensuring the platform remains modern, user-friendly, and visually engaging.
- Redesign User Experience (UX) Based on Feedback:
- Collaborate with the product team to analyze user feedback and redesign UX elements accordingly.
- Focus on simplifying user flows, improving intuitiveness, and creating a delightful and efficient experience for both sellers and customers.
- Conduct Comprehensive UX/UI Audits:
- Perform audits to evaluate the platform’s current design, identifying pain points and opportunities for enhancement.
- Communicate findings effectively to stakeholders, providing clear, actionable recommendations that align with Converty's goals and user needs.
- Design New Features for an Expanding Platform:
- Create the UI and UX for new features, from concept to implementation.
- Ensure that new features integrate seamlessly with the existing design while maintaining a consistent brand identity.
Qualifications and Skills
- Level: Junior or Internship
- Portfolio: Must have a portfolio with personal projects showcasing UI/UX skills, creativity, and problem-solving ability. Whether through freelance work, personal initiatives, or internships, these projects should reflect your design capabilities and commitment to user-centered design.
- Foundational Design Skills:
- Understanding of basic UI/UX design principles, including color theory, typography, layout, and responsive design.
- Familiarity with Figma or similar platforms.
- Problem-Solving Mindset:
- Ability to analyze user feedback and identify key areas for design improvements.
